Los admiraba porque conservan aquello que los humanos hemos perdido por una equivocada evoluci\u00f3n y los amaba sin conocerlos, segura de que su noble comportamiento nunca protagonizar\u00eda una s\u00fabita traici\u00f3n. Llamaba y acariciaba a cualquiera que se cruzaba en mi direcci\u00f3n, casi siempre sin mirar ni hablar a su due\u00f1o, al que yo prefer\u00eda denominar padre o tutor. Algunos se molestaban, aunque los canes no, sabedores de que eran ellos los exclusivos destinatarios de mi devoci\u00f3n.
