Igualdad no entendida en el sentido social y legal, que aqu\u00ed si coincid\u00edamos, si no en cuanto a la idiosincrasia y forma de comportarse ante la vida de\u00a0unos y\u00a0otras. Yo por entonces siempre defend\u00eda que por ser hombre o mujer no hab\u00eda distinci\u00f3n vital, lo contrario que pensaba \u00e9l. Hoy ya no tendr\u00edamos motivos para discrepar.<\/p>\n<p>\u00bfPor qu\u00e9? Quiz\u00e1s porque ahora tengo casi la edad que entonces ten\u00eda mi padre y la vida me ha demostrado que aquello que desde la biso\u00f1ez de la utop\u00eda igualitarista\u00a0defend\u00eda sin conocimiento emp\u00edrico, no necesariamente ten\u00eda por qu\u00e9 ajustarse la realidad que he podido observar.<\/p>\n<p>Soy consciente del peligro de la generalizaci\u00f3n al definir algo o a alguien, aunque en muchas ocasiones es necesaria para avanzar en su entendimiento. Decir que las personas mediterr\u00e1neas son morenas y las n\u00f3rdicas rubias es generalizar, pues ni las unas ni las otras son todas as\u00ed, aunque la mayor\u00eda si responden a esa definici\u00f3n de color capilar, por lo que su identificaci\u00f3n generalizada puede ser permitida sin contradecir a las excepciones que se puedan dar.<\/p>\n<p>Hombres y mujeres, personas ambos, son diferentes f\u00edsica (es obvio) pero tambi\u00e9n emocionalmente. Desconozco que parte de culpa es debida a la gen\u00e9tica y cual a la educaci\u00f3n y en ello ahora no voy a entrar.<\/p>\n<p>El estudio profundo de estas distinciones de g\u00e9nero hist\u00f3ricamente no ha sido muy del inter\u00e9s de los pensadores, releg\u00e1ndose a poco m\u00e1s que un foco de inspiraci\u00f3n para los artistas (como po\u00e9ticos glosadores del <em>eterno femenino<\/em>) y desgraciadamente tambi\u00e9n para esos otros, inventores de burdos y sexistas chistes de sal\u00f3n, que identifican al sujeto femenino como un mero objeto de inter\u00e9s visual y sexual.<\/p>\n<p>Quiz\u00e1s todo esto se explique por el marginal protagonismo econ\u00f3mico que la mujer secularmente ha detentado en la sociedad y su escaso manejo de esos hilos del poder que, dicen, mueven al mundo sin llegarse a notar. Sin embargo, la realidad actual en los pa\u00edses m\u00e1s desarrollados ha cambiado y sus mujeres, con val\u00eda y mucho esfuerzo, han alcanzado cotas de protagonismo m\u00e1s all\u00e1 del \u00e1mbito tradicionalmente est\u00e9tico o familiar, que ya las hacen merecedoras de la atenci\u00f3n de los analistas socioecon\u00f3micos de mayor reputaci\u00f3n mundial.<\/p>\n<p>Uno de ellos es Paco Underhill, psic\u00f3logo ambiental, fundador y CEO de la multinacional de investigaci\u00f3n de mercados Envirosell y quiz\u00e1s uno de los expertos m\u00e1s acreditados en el an\u00e1lisis de los comportamientos del consumidor que podamos encontrar. En su libro publicado en 2010, <em>Lo que quieren las mujeres<\/em> (<em>What Women Want<\/em>), nos propone una caracterizaci\u00f3n de la mujer actual que, aunque desde una perspectiva mercadot\u00e9cnica, podr\u00eda traspolarse tambi\u00e9n a otros \u00e1mbitos de su personalidad.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan Underhill, <em>lo que quieren las mujeres<\/em> de hoy viene determinado por cuatro cualidades que son las que m\u00e1s valoran en las cosas (lo que les decide qu\u00e9 productos y servicios consumir) y particularmente considero que tambi\u00e9n pueda serlo en las personas (lo que les decide que pareja o amistades elegir):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>La Seguridad: Derivado posiblemente de una necesidad at\u00e1vica de protecci\u00f3n ante su menor fortaleza f\u00edsica, las mujeres aprecian todo aquello que generalmente eluda el peligro gratuito y garantice la estabilidad y la armon\u00eda.<\/li>\n<li>La Adaptaci\u00f3n: Valoran aquello que tienda a adecuarse a sus gustos y cuya flexibilidad permita una acomodaci\u00f3n a sus preferencias.<\/li>\n<li>El Respeto: Aprecian la consideraci\u00f3n integral hacia su persona.<\/li>\n<li>La Higiene: Estiman muy positivamente todo lo referido a la limpieza como referente de salud, confort y perdurabilidad.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Estoy convencido de que si los hombres nos esforzamos en conocer mejor lo que quieren las mujeres habremos dado el primer paso para solicitar que tambi\u00e9n ellas descubran lo que queremos los hombres, mundos puede que algo diferentes pero\u00a0no inevitablemente distantes con toda seguridad&#8230;<strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\" align=\"center\"><strong><em>Saludos de Antonio J.
